The U.S.A. National Committee of the Lutheran World Federation's (USANC) Office of Latin American Interests correspondence files (1966-1968) contain the correspondence and reports of Levon H. Spath in his capactiy as Office director. Files concern the Lutheran World Federation's (LWF) Commission on Latin America activities, scholarship placement in Latin America, Latin American publications and literature production, finance and budget, formation of a Lutheran Literature Committee, staff issues, and Latin American Publications and Publicaciones El Escudo staff meetings. Guido Tornquist, Director of the LWF's Commission on Latin America, is the. Primary correspondent. Other correspondents include Robert F. Gussick, coordinator of the Provisional Coordination Committee of the Lutheran Churches in Latin America; Christian Walther, LWF-Department of World Service Secretary for Social Affairs; and Arno Dreher, Tornquist's successor as Director of the LWF's Commission on Latin America.
